Like a butterfly in the Spring....so too will your pressure
washing equipment emerge from its cocoon.....
Ok....yes...it's a bit dramatic!  But it is true. I remember back when Punxsutawney Phil's prediction was the
only one that counted.  Now there's a groundhog in every neck of the woods that seems to get dragged
whether he wants to or not into the bright light of TV cameras to tell us the answer to THAT question.....
We all know the question.....is Spring time coming sooner rather than later?!

Really, it doesn't quite matter when it comes.  What does matter is that you have done a few preventive
maintenance procedures before you just decide to crank your pressure washer back up for business!  We have
a large number of repairs that could be prevented with the basics.

So quickly (because we've been told that our attention spans are like 30 seconds!)...here are the top 3 we
recommend...

1. Oil. Yes...use it and use the RIGHT weight and type.  And as a secondary to this item....CHANGE IT!

2. Drain your gas completely from the tank and run the engine until it is completely empty.  If you use Stabil in
the gas prior to storage, you will have prevented a varnishing problem in your fuel system.  For the newbies,
varnishing means that the gas has broken down into a "gunky" substance that clogs carburetors.

3. Whether you or your distributor completes your preventive maintenance, starting a season with a fresh
spark plug, new air filter and fresh oil change may allow you to get started with the least amount of service
disruptions.
